I haven't been shy about my admiration for Stephen King. Do I enjoy all his books? No. Do I enjoy reading horror? No. So why my admiration? Simple: He's an amazing writer. Yes, he's chosen to write about things that will keep you up at night, although lately he's been going in a different direction, but this man knows how to draw a reader in and give them what they want.
